Frequently Asked Questions
What's the catch with a free roof inspection?
There isn't one. Free inspections are how Trident earns work in San Antonio — some homeowners become customers now, some in five years, and some refer a neighbor. Either way you leave with a dated photo report and an honest read on your roof, even if the answer is that it's fine and you should do nothing.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
For the exterior inspection, no. We can inspect the roof and send the photo report the same day. We do recommend being there for the walkthrough so we can point out what we found, and if we need attic access to trace a leak we'll schedule around you. Renters and property managers can arrange access on the owner's behalf.
How long does a roof inspection take?
Typically 30 to 45 minutes on site for an average San Antonio home. Larger or steeper roofs take a bit longer. We photograph every slope, check flashing, penetrations, vents, and gutters, and look for hail bruising you can't see from the ground. You get the photo report and our written assessment the same day.
